PMA 2008 - A Look at the Future of Things to Come

PMA 2008 started on 31 January, and it certainly started off with a bang with pre-PMA events being held in Las Vegas just before the exhibition proper. As we walk the halls looking for the latest technologies, here are some of the interesting and upcoming products that can be expected to arrive throughout 2008.

Panasonic is all about compacts this time with the recent launch of a new plethora of vibrantly hued point-and-shoots that feature a new improved Advanced Intelligent Auto mode. This adds an Intelligent Exposure and Digital Red Eye Reduction mode to Scene, Shake, Motion and Face Detection.

It's all about the comparisons as the big screen TVs placed all over the showfloor shows.

The new FX35 (FX36 in Asia) compared with the older FX33 to show the benefits of a 25mm wide end over a 28mm one.

Panasonic's own range of SDHC cards go all the way up to the heralded 32GB limit and should be out in the 2nd quarter of the year.
