It’s been under renovation for 6 weeks, but the Bang & Olufsen showroom in Grand Hyatt has finally reopened!
The first thing greeting you is a huge BeoPlay A9 speaker.
Right behind that you’ll find their new BeoPlay A6.
And the BeoLit 15, a portable speaker that’s also from the Play series. This is a more refined and updated version of the BeoLit 12 that we last had a close listen.
Installed at various locations around the showroom were the BeoSound 35, high-end wireless speakers that are also all-in-one music systems that use a touch interface.
There’s a speaker wall in the showroom where all the different speakers in Bang & Olufsen’s line-up have been installed under individual spotlights that come on when the speaker is playing. This way, you can audition all of the speakers and still know exactly which one is playing.
The facing wall is a TV wall, which showcases all the televisions in Bang & Olufsen’s line-up.
Even the new Sound Systems are on display, as you see with the BeoSound Moment.
And the BeoSound Essence here. These are connected to the speakers in the showroom, so you can really use them to control what’s playing to get a feel of how they work.
The interior experience room also seems much more spacious now with a meeting table setup inside for further discussions on installation. This showcases the best of the best that B&O has to offer, as evidenced from the set of BeoLab 90s paired with the huge 85” BeoVision Avant!
Of course, there’s also a wall dedicated to the portable speakers from the Play series.
And a table with the various Play headphones laid out in front of it, like the BeoPlay H8s you see here.
That’s also where the latest BeoPlay A1 was unveiled. These are available now in Natural, with the Moss Green colorway to be coming soon.
Finally, here’s the new street side entrance. It’s fronted largely by glass, letting in plenty of sunlight, and letting you see into the shop as you walk past. The new showroom is certainly much more open and airy, as well as seeming more inviting, so we can certainly imagine audio fans spending hours inside.
