Samsung has improved from strength to strength with each fresh wave of Smart TVs. The 55-inch ES8000 is a fifth-generation model categorized under their Series 8 range. And it's armed with a whole slew of interactive controls like motion control, voice triggers, and face recognition, all packed in a slender frame with a new Arc Flow stand to boast about. Apart from its decent picture quality and capable 3D performance, the flagship ES8000 also offers Samsung's revamped AllShare Play feature which enables you to share content from your smartphone or tablet with the Full-HD TV powered by edge LEDs. What's more, you'll also get a free Galaxy Tab 2 with every purchase of the ES8000 at the PC Show.
If you want a HDTV that's a little more affordable than the ES8000 and one without the 3D frills, then Samsung's Series 6 should be an appropriate choice. The ES6200 comes equipped with a Full-HD panel, digital and analog tuners, and a Clear Motion Rate of 400Hz to reduce motion judder. You don't have to sacrifice on Samsung's Smart TV features too since the ES6200 extends a Smart Hub just as well. This 46-inch model packs three HDMI and three USB slots which are more than sufficient to cater to your AV needs.
There's only so much a basic 3D Blu-ray player can do, but we reckon the ES6000 deserves a spot here for its compact form factor and upscaling capabilities for standard-definition content. This nifty box uses a slot-loading drive instead of a conventional tray. On top of that, Samsung's flagship Blu-ray deck also carries its own Smart Hub platform and a web browser, which makes it an ideal companion for a non Smart TV if you happen to have one. Wi-Fi is integrated, with a wide support for various video containers such as DivX HD and MKV.
