If you find yourself getting lost on the roads, even in tiny Singapore, perhaps a GPS navigation device from Garmin is what you need.

The Garmin nuvi 1460 has a very slim design with a 5-inch touchscreen. And for this PC Show, it's going for just $399 for the normal version and $449 for the one with TMC (Traffic Message Channel). There's also a choice of one free gift of either a friction mount, a carrying case or an AC charger.

The 4.3-inch nuvi 1350 features 3D icons with larger fonts. Again, there's the same choice of three free gifts. It costs $329 without TMC and $379 with.

One of Garmin's smallest GPS navigators, the nuvi 1250 measures is ultra-thin with a 3.5-inch screen. It comes loaded with TeleAtlas and MalSing maps and costs $199 without TMC and $249 with.

 

Garmin-Asus

Garmin-Asus' latest smartphone is the M10, which boasts of lightning quick Garmin navigation (33s for time to first fix) and is capable of accepting calls while in navigation mode. It's based on Windows Mobile 6.5.3 with a 3.5-inch WVGA touchscreen. Going for $638 at the PC Show, with a choice of free gifts ranging from a free car kit worth $88 to a free battery worth $88.

If you don't mind having an older phone at a more attractive price, Garmin-Asus' M20 and G60 are on sale at $399 each. Both support turn by turn navigation while the M20 can even be updated to Windows Mobile 6.5 Professional.
