PC Show 2008 - The Full Coverage (Part 2)

Seagate and SingTel Booths

Seagate's Booth

If you're looking for portable hard disks, then Seagate's booth will be a stop you'll probably visit during your time spent at PC Show 2008.

If you find your current Maxtor/Seagate too generic for your taste, then consider getting Garskin wraps worth $15.90 to go with your $119 160GB Maxtor OneTouch 4 Mini.

Costing the same $119 is the 160GB Seagate FreeAgent Go.

For 3.5-inch portable drives, the Seagate FreeAgent Pro will be a familiar site to most. If you like the looks of the FreeAgent Pro, then you probably wouldn't mind paying $355 for the 1TB version and $199 for the 500GB version.

If you don't quite like the design of the Seagate FreeAgent Pro, then there's always the industrial vault design of the Maxtor OneTouch 4 Plus. As a bonus it's slightly cheaper than the FreeAgent Pro at $345 for the 1TB version and $189 for the 500GB version.

SingTel's Booth

First, the F1 race sponsorship, and then the iPhone 3G. SingTel's presence will be getting stronger in the next few months, especially so when the permanent number portability kicks in starting 13th June.

When it comes to broadband deals, there's quite a bit coming from SingTel, one of which is its 10Mbps unlimited plan and comes with a FREE MacBook Air, though it'll be a $118/month contract up to 36 months for this little Air bonus.

But if you aren't really looking for any deals, there's always the F1 simulator hosted by SingTel to have your hands on when you're bored with the PC Show (not that it'll ever happen, there's too much to look for over the next few days).
