Sony Ericsson

Sony Ericsson W995 Walkman

Prior to the W995's launch, Sony Ericsson launched the C901, C903 and the W395 handsets. The question that's naturally raised is: why have small launches of these products, instead of unveiling them at MWC? Well, we can safely assume that it was because they did not want their high-end handset to get lost in the pack with the other less-worthy cousins. Sort of like how the Xperia X1 took the spotlight at last year's MWC.

Offering up a platter of features like an 8.1-megapixel camera, 2.8-inch screen, Wi-Fi, aGPS and more.

The side of the W995 not only allows you to control your camera functions but also your music side too.

There is also a stand at the back so you can prop the handset on the table to watch movies with ease.

Sony Ericsson Idou

Another handset to look out for is the Idou (pronounced I do) in the 2nd half of 2009, which will have the best of imaging and multimedia all in one device such as a 12.1MP camera, intuitive touch features, Xenon flash and more.

Do you? We definitely can't wait for this one to land in our hands.

With a stellar plate of features, you can forgive its thick side, can't you?
