JVC and Linksys by Cisco Booths

JVC's Booth

JVC, the land of camcorders. We spotted a few good bargains, with prices slashed a few hundred dollars down its usual pricing.

Rock bottom price, as the brochure says? If it's really true that the JVC GZ-MG505 is slashed from S$2299 to S$899, then yes, it is. It also comes with dual capacity such as a 30GB HDD and a SD card expandability for long hours of recording.

The JVC GZ-MG330 is the mid-range offer for this year's IT Show, priced at S$599 from its usual S$799 and comes with a 2 year warranty. Similar to the GZ-MG505, it comes with a 30GB HDD and ups the ante with a 35x optical zoom.

Though it doesn't reach the 35x optical zoom level that the GZ-MG330 does, the JVC GZ-MS90 does sufficiently well at 28x and comes with the one touch upload to YouTube, for the price of S$399.

Linksys by Cisco's Booth

There's quite a few router and media centers to look out for at the Linksys by Cisco booth. We present some of the new stuff, and the budget findings for the day.

While the Linksys by Cisco Media Center Extender might be labeled as S$99, it can go as low as S$59 from 1-2pm on Thursday and Friday, for the first 5 customers of the day. Thursday's gone, but if you've been keeping tabs on our coverage and read about it, Friday's your last chance!

We welcome faster wireless connectivity speeds, and here it is, the Linksys by Cisco WRT610N Simultaneous Dual-N Band Wireless Router. Likewise, early bird discounts are available for the WRT610N, and that's for the first 5 customers too over the weekend for S$209. Reverts back to S$259 if you weren't the lucky few.

And if you're as lazy as one of our writers are in laying the wires for your internet connection, fall back on the Linksys by Cisco Powerline Network Kit. It comes in a pair and costs S$159, but you can shave S$50 off that price if you are the first 5 customers on Friday from 1-2pm!
