Inside Intel: A peek inside Intel's Singapore labs

Did you know, if you have an Intel-based smartphone, it's very likely that some of the components in that smartphone were designed and engineered right here in Singapore?

Intel actually has two bases of operations in Singapore, one in Kallang and one in Ang Mo Kio. The group at Kallang specializes in wireless platform R&D, with close to 170 wireless platform engineers working there, working on two aspects of mobile phone engineering: hardware engineering and software integration and development.

The Ang Moh Kio group specializes and builds Intel’s Global Navigation Satellite Systems (GNSS) SoC.
