Gigabyte was also showing their wares at the tech showcase and they had four versions on display.

The Gigabyte GA-X79-UD3 motherboard is a pretty standard fare with four DIMM slots and PCIe Gen3 graphics slot.

The Gigabyte GA-X79-UD5 motherboard is quite similar in build to the UD3 with Gigabyte's Ultra Durable 3 technology and 2x copper PCB. Except that this board comes with a 12 phase power VRM as compared with the UD3 which features only an 8 phase power VRM.

The Gigabyte GA-X79-UD7 features more PCIe graphics slots for up to 4-way SLI/CrossFireX multi graphics configuration. The board also comes with Gigabyte's proprietary OC Touch, OC-Cool, OC-DualBIOS and OC PEG features. The UD7 also boasts of an extreme 20 phase VRM power design, enabling even greater overclocking capabilities.

The Gigabyte G1.Assassin 2 is a motherboard built for gamers and multimedia enthusiasts. Although featuring only an 8 phase VRM and 3-way SLI/CrossFireX configuration for multi graphics, the board comes with an 8-channel HD audio system based on Creative's audio chipset. It also features Bigfoot Networks' Killer E2100 LAN solution.
