Gear this week: A video-first camera, a tiny 256GB USB drive, and more

Panasonic Lumix GH5S

The Panasonic Lumix GH5S is a camera built for the professional videographer. It ships with an oversized 10MP sensor that provides native DCI or UHD 4K capture, with one pixel on the sensor corresponding to one pixel in the final footage. The lower pixel count with larger pixels also give it better performance in low light. The GH5S can capture DCI 4K footage at up to 60p, with 10-bit 4:2:2 internal capture available.

SanDisk Ultra Fit USB 3.1 Flash Drive

SanDisk bills this as the smallest 256GB USB drive in the world. At just 19.1mm in length, it’s certainly minute, and its big capacity means you can store up to 14,000 photos, 10 hours of full HD video and 16,000 songs, and still have 64GB left over for files.

JBL JR300

Compact, durable, and colorful, the JBL JR300 are on-ear headphones designed for children ages three to ten. Two models are available: the regular JR300 is the corded version while the JR300BT is Bluetooth enabled and lasts up to 12 hours on a single charge. To protect the child's hearing, both headphones are hardwired to limit the volume to no more than 85dB.

Sapphire Radeon RX Vega 64 Nitro+ Limited Edition

The Sapphire Radeon RX Vega 64 Nitro+ Limited Edition was designed to be taken to its limits. It features a 14-phase power design, dual BIOS, and aggressive factory overclocks, but it’s the cooler that helps you really push the card. It utilizes a vapor chamber cooling solution instead of a direct contact copper plate, and pairs that with six nickel-plated heat pipes and three fans to keep things chilly.

Secretlab Omega 2018

Secretlab’s refreshed Omega gaming chair is a more refined take on its predecessor. It features subtler curves and a more modern look, but it also comes with improvements to its construction, wider backrest wings, and broader and plusher armrests. The thick layer of cold-cure foam also comprises just a single, uniform piece, which supposedly helps with support and weight distribution.
