Gear this week: A Lego Nasa rocket, a Samsung flip phone and more

Lego Nasa Apollo Saturn V

Standing at a meter-high, this Lego brick model of the Nasa Apollo Saturn V rocket is truly majestic. It’s astoundingly detailed, with three removable rocket stages, including the lunar lander and lunar orbiter. It comes with three new astronaut microfigures and a booklet about the manned Apollo missions.

WhiteFox Mechanical Keyboard

You may not have heard of it, but the WhiteFox mechanical keyboard carries a legendary status among keyboard enthusiasts. The keyboard features fully programmable keys, durable PBT keycaps, an aluminum body, a compact layout, open source hardware and custom Halo mechanical switches. Previously, you had to solder and assemble the keyboard yourself, but it’s now available fully assembled on Kickstarter.

Samsung Folder Flip 2

Who knew that Samsung was still making flip phones? The Folder Flip 2 comes with a larger keypad, runs Android 7.0 Nougat, has a 3.8” display, 2GB of RAM, up to 256GB of storage, a 1.4GHz processor, and ships in pink and black. Unfortunately, it looks like it’ll only be available in South Korea.

Think Tank Signature Series

Think Tank calls this a modernized version of the classic shoulder camera bag, we call this an exercise in style. It's hand sewn from advanced fabrics that feel like wool but is tough enough to stand up to everyday use. Additionally, the bag has a water-repellant coating that protects your gear from the elements. A full-grain leather bottom with antique finished metal hardware completes the fusion of style and sensibility.

Razer Blade (2017)

Razer’s updated 14-inch Blade laptop now comes with the latest 7th-generation Intel processors and a 4K display option. It is also powered by a NVIDIA GeForce GTX 1060 and 16GB of memory, which is plenty to handle the latest games at 1080p. The keyboard’s Chroma backlighting is nothing short of brilliant, and per-key customizations open the door to limitless configurations.
