Windows Vista Results - Crysis Warhead & Far Cry 2

Leaving the realms of synthetic benchmarking, we've come to the notoriously hardware-intensive Crysis Warhead. The overclocked GeForce GTX 285 cards performed well, posting rather good frame-rates on lower resolutions, letting up only when we upped the settings. And although the MSI N285GTX-OC is quite clearly the better performing of the two, the difference between it and the ASUS ENGTX280 TOP is only a frame or two - impossible to notice with the naked eye, but still made its mark among our performance graphs.

Coming to Far Cry 2, we noticed the same thing as both overclocked GeForce GTX 285 managed rather similar frame-rates. Impressively, they managed to clock playable frame-rates even at our highest settings with anti-aliasing turned up to 8x. What's more amazing, however, is that they performed as well as the Radeon HD 4870 X2. Fans of Far Cry 2 looking for a high-end graphics card would do well to take note.
