Computex Taipei 2007 - Part 4

AeroCool and Asia Vital Components Booths

AeroCool's Booth

AeroCool's iCurve+ chassis comes with a fan control and temperature monitoring system like the display shown here. This mid-tower chassis has four 5.25-inch external bays and an adjustable hard drive cage. No screws are required, making this quite the user friendly installation.

The AeroCool FP-01 is another temperature and fan speed monitoring module. It can be installed into any 5.25-inch external bay and has a car stereo style flip LCD screen. Three sets of alarm settings are possible and there's even an integrated card reader that extends its functionality.

Asia Vital Components' Booth

You may not recognize the name Asia Vital Components readily but that's because this company deals mainly with other manufacturers, providing cooling solutions to them. Its booth at Computex is also heavily oriented towards trade visitors and not your usual end user.

Some of the cooler designs that AVC has created for graphics cards, with an emphasis on the heat pipe technology used extensively here. You may even find a couple of them familiar in retail products.

CPU coolers with aluminum fins like the ones shown here are quite common nowadays, just with slightly different permutations.
