Strontium and Synology Booths

Strontium's Booth

Strontium should be familiar to locals, since its head office is based in Singapore. However, its memory products may not be a household name yet.

4GB DDR3 2000MHz enthusiast oriented memory from Strontium. They are rated at 9-9-9-24, 2N and runs at 1.65V.

This SATA 6Gbps SSD uses a Marvell 88SS9174-BLD2 controller and has a maximum sequential read speed of 415Mbps and a sequential write speed of 175Mbps. It's available with a capacity of 120GB and has a 3-year warranty.

These 32GB flash drives are USB 3.0 compliant and comes with 5-year warranties. Capacities range from 2GB to 256GB.


Synology's Booth

Those who have considered buying a NAS for the home or small business may have heard of Synology.

Synology's newest slim NAS, the DiskStation DS411 has won a Best Choice award at Computex 2011.

As you can tell, it's a 4-bay NAS (2.5-inch drives) with a 1.6GHz processor and 256MB of RAM. There are two USB ports and one eSATA port.

Some of the popular NAS models from Synology for the home and small office users. They are usually 2-bay or 4-bay models with a processor speed between 1.6GHz and 1.8GHz.
