Comex 2007: The Full Monty!

Fujifilm's Booth

 The Fujifilm FinePix Z10fd is a brand new line of compact digital cameras targeted at the younger and hipper crowd. With seven different colors that include Wasabi Green and Hot Pink, don't think that the Z10fd is a low end camera. It sports a 7.2 Megapixel sensor, ISO1600 capability, world's fastest 10-face detection engine and picture stabilizer technology. The FinePix Z10fd is on sale for S$399 and comes with a slew of free gifts including a 2GB SD card, card reader, mini tripod and lens cleaning kit.

 Another new entry from Fujifilm that has been spotted at Comex, the prosumer FinePix S8000fd is an 8 Megapixel monster with an 18x optical zoom, 27mm wide angle lens, dual image stabilizer, 10-face detection engine and ultra high sensitivity up to ISO6400 (4MP only). This digital camera is going for S$649. Expect the same slew of free gifts.

 Fujifilm is busting out all their new cameras here at Comex as we come across the third new entry, the FinePix F50fd, a 12 Megapixel compact digital camera with similar features to the S8000fd above. It has an ISO6400 sensitivity, dual image stabilizer, 10-face detection engine, aperture/shutter priority and a large 2.7-inch LCD screen. The F50fd is going for S$799 and it comes with a FinePix A900 9 Megapixel Super CCD camera. That's a buy one get one free package of two digital cameras in addition to the usual free gift bundle.

 Besides the latest and greatest, Fujifilm is also letting go some of their older generation cameras with some great prices. The FinePix A820 is a Star Buy product going for an amazing S$199. This is an 8.3 Megapixel Super CCD camera with 4x optical zoom and picture stabilizer technology. Free gifts include a 1GB SD card, card reader, mini tripod, lens cleaning kit and battery charger kit.

Fujitsu's Booth

 This 14.1 LifeBook S7111LE2 comes with a dual core processor (T2130) and is based on Intel's 945GM Express chipset. It has 1GB of DDR2 RAM and has a 120GB hard drive. Priced at $2188, there is limited stock and it is only available at Comex.

 This extremely portable LifeBook U1010 has a tiny 5.6-inch widescreen display, uses an Intel A110 processor based on Intel's Ultra Mobile platform and is capable of running Windows Vista Home Premium. It also has 1GB of DDR2 RAM and 40GB hard drive capacity. Only limited stocks of this model is available at $1988.
