Belkin's Booth

Belkin has been one of the few interesting sights at CES and it is obvious they've been a busy beaver. Their booth included a wide variety of products in different markets. Here, you see their excellent TuneStudio for iPod on display. While not exactly a 'new' product for Belkin, it is now made available in the retail market.

For those who don't know, the TuneStudio is a mixer that allows up to four high quality digital recordings to be made on the iPod for instant playback. Belkin even had a live band that uses the Belkin TuneStudio as their mixer of choice for their performances. It also acts as an external sound card for the PC, either taking input from a PC source or output to a PC.

Energy saving effort from Belkin, the Conserve Surge Protector is design to allow true shutting off of unused plugs so as to conserve energy draw. As such, the main outlet can still be used. At the moment, the model you see here is catered only for the American market, but there should be localized designs out too.

Strangely enough, Belkin launched a whole line of iPod leather flip cases.

Walking around the booth, this little device struck our fancy. While it doesn't have all the 'gamer' features and speed of high-performance mice, there is one thing it can do even while on the move, and that is to get a nice bath.

Skype phones-a-plenty, and Belkin adds another choice into the market with their Desktop Internet Phone for Skype. It is a standalone unit that automatically logs in to Skype through an Ethernet connection, supports SkypeIn and SkupeOut calls with over 500 internal contacts.
