Buffalo's and D-Link's Booths

Buffalo's and D-Link's Booths

Buffalo's Booth

As expected, Buffalo was pushing various storage solutions for personal, home and SOHO levels.

New to their usual storage-centric offerings is this wireless media-steaming adaptor. It's the same concept as the Netgear's media streaming that we tested not long ago (the EVA7000). The Buffalo LinkTheater Wireless-A&G supports 802.11a/g wireless standards and has the ability to stream most common audio, photo and video content over the network from your home server/PC. Its functionality increases with Intel ViiV-enabled systems as this unit support Intel ViiV technology.

D-Link's Booth

The D-Link DNS-323 is a gigabit network storage unit that has been available since this year to selected solution providers, but will soon be offered to a wider audience - if they can belly its extra cost versus its competitors. Besides having a gigabit link and ability to RAID dual 750GB SATA drives in RAID 0 or RAID 1 mode, its extensive web-based management system is what sets it apart from the rest. Targeted solely at business groups.

D-Link's DIR-635 Wireless-N router isn't new, but this red edition sure caught our attention.

A cute looking access point. Though rated for Wireless G standard, it has the capability to reach 108Mbit/s transmissions.

This Wireless G Access Point/Bridge is huge!
