More of MSI's New Motherboards (for Intel CPUs)

The P6N Diamond is the highly anticipated and more feature packed brother of the P6N Platinum that we reviewed recently. The Diamond version is based on the nForce 680i SLI chipset versus the latter's nForce 650i chipset. As such, expect all things good of the nForce 680i SLI to be present, plus Spare Drive feature and an onboard Creative X-Fi sound subsystem. Beat that!

NVIDIA'a answer to ATI's recent Radeon X1200-class IGP for Intel processors is their new GeForce 7020 series IGP and this MSI P6NGM motherboard is built around this. Some of the board's highlights are 1333MHz FSB support, dual-channel DDR2-800 support, Gigabit LAN, 7.1-channel audio and an onboard HDMI output interface. This looks like a board for HTPC enthusiasts to look forward to.

The Intel G33 and P35 chipsets not only support DDR3, but also DDR2. Here's the G33 Platinum using DDR2 memory.

This is the micro-ATX version of the G33M and it is ideal for its intended user group.

And this is the more affordable variant of the MSI P35 discrete graphics motherboard, which forgoes the use of all solid capacitors, a secondary graphics slot and a more basic ICH9 Southbridge.
