AOpen's Mobos and Barebones

The i945GTm-VHL motherboard is based on the Intel 945GT+ICH7M-DH chipset and supports Socket 479 processors such as the Pentium M and even Core Duo/Solo. This micro-ATX board supports Intel's Viiv technology, so it's really meant to be used as a media center. It comes with a PCIe x16 graphics slot, one PCIe x1 slot, two PCI slots, Gigabit Ethernet LAN, S/PDIF in/out for its eight-channel high definition audio and two SO-DIMM DDR2 slots.

For the extreme enthusiasts, the i975Xa-YDG is based on Intel's 975X paired with the ICH7 and it's built for the latest Intel Core Duo/Solo processors. A rare board supporting mobile processor using a high-end desktop chipset, the board offers two PCIe x8 graphics slots for those who want to build a CrossFire graphics system.

The nMCP551-SLI motherboard is based on the NVIDIA MCP55 chipset supporting the new AMD Socket M2 processor. It comes with two PCIe x8 graphics slots for SLI setup, Gigabit Ethernet LAN and six SATA 3G RAID ports.

For those who want an even smaller motherboard, AOpen offers the i945GTt-VFA which is a mini-ITX board based on the Intel 945GT+ICH7M-DH chipset. It supports the latest Intel Core Duo/Solo processors and it comes with two DDR2 SO-DIMM slots for up to 2GB of memory. Since space is rather limited, you'll find a PCIe x1 slot and a mini PCI slot for expansion.

These new tiny AOpen pico-BTX barebone systems feature support for Intel LGA775 and AMD Socket M2 processors.
