CeBIT 2009 - Part 4

Chieftec's Booth

Chieftec's Booth

Some interesting case designs were found at Chenbro's booth.

This is their Aegis extreme workstation chassis.

And here's their lower-end Mesh series of workstation chassis.

This is however the really interesting chassis a DIY all-in-one PC, right down to even the monitor. You'll see later that Enlight has a more elegant version of this concept and is more ready to release to market. However, this model from Chieftec is completely DIY-able. You name a component, and you can configure it.

Here's another view from the rear and as you can see, it can take in a completely normal ATX sized innards. You can even put in any PSU of your choice. Bare in mind though, the case is still a prototype and will take a while before the design finalized and reaches production. Perhaps by Computex time frame.

This chassis by Chieftec will take in any LCD that is compatible with wall mounting. So all you need to do then is to mount it on this system. As you can see the mounting arm on the chassis is both pivot friendly and height-adjustable.
