It's not easy to describe just how thunderous Formula One cars are, but if earplugs are required for spectators to sit through the entire race, that should be telling enough of how blaringly loud the engines are. Then again, if it weren't for their unique 'soundtrack' from the V8 and V10 engines found in these lightweight missiles on wheels, F1 races would be a lesser spectacle for car enthusiasts and fans around the world.

Below is a series of pictures taken inside the closely guarded paddocks, pits and circuit, and as always, www.hardwarezone.com invites you to strap up and join us for a quick photo journey of our time spent in Sepang International Circuit, Malaysia.

The paddock area is strictly out of bounds to the general public. Not even the most expensive F1 ticket can get you beyond the paddock gates

Special passes are needed to get you beyond this security gantry and into the paddock.

Unlike the outside, quarters within the paddock were casual and security atmosphere was much more relaxed as well. Unfortunately, we didn't have time to check out the drivers' briefing room.
