SPECCPU being primarily a CPU dependent test, the overclocked Athlon 64 FX-60 almost matched the FX-62. However floating-point workload took advantage of the DDR2-800's memory bandwidth, giving the FX-62 a leadership of more than 4% over the equivalently clocked processor using DDR-400 low latency memory.
