If you've always wondered what Japan's robot technology can help in making our lives better in the future, then you have to head down to Japan Creative Centre at Nassim Road to get a glimpse of these robots in action. It's a 2 week exhibition with Japanese companies such as NEC and Toshiba showcasing some of their inventions. We caught a preview of the exhibition last week and we have a couple of videos here, just in case you can't make it to the exhibition.
Intel launched the Intel AppUp store just a couple of days back with about 1000 application titles, joining Apple, Android and Blackberry in the ever growing app market. You might say it's just another one of those app stores, but it's probably not what Intel intended it to be.
Everyday, I'm bombarded with all sorts of requests in Facebook - from helping friends fertilize their crops in Farmville to joining other users in a cause to save mother Earth. These are all fine and good. But when an organization begins to misuse social media and mislead users into deceptive marketing tactics, I get upset.
