Cooler Master's Largest Enthusiast Case Yet

For the past few months, Cooler Master's premium enthusiast casing model had been their Wave Master series. Although it isn't considered old in the timeline of such products, Cooler Master showcased a number of newer case designs and models when we visited their booth at CeBIT this year. Among the newcomers, the most notable of them (literally, due to its sheer size) was the Cooler Master CM Stacker STC-T01 (henceforth referred as the CM Stacker).

The towering Cooler Master CM Stacker.

It is by far the largest Cooler Master casing that wasn't classified as a workstation/server chassis, even though it had eleven 5.25-inch drive bays and space for dual power supply units. That's quite an overkill for even the average PC buff. However, the Cooler Master CM Stacker wasn’t designed for use as an average system, but function either as a home server or as a hardcore user's primary system. As one of Cooler Master's premium models, it is unfortunately, not a full aluminum alloy casing as one would have hoped for. The main chassis is made from steel, but the side panels, top and front façade are aluminum alloy panels. There are reasons to this decision, but we will discuss them later in this review after we've highlighted all the features of this chassis. Here's the technical specifications table for the Cooler Master CM Stacker:-
