Miscellaneous Sightings (II)

The new Olympus m:robe MR-500i HDD music player features a built-in 20GB hard disk drive with an integrated 1.22 MegaPixel camera and an extra large 9.3cm color TFT touch screen. It supports the playback of MP3, WMA, AIFF, JPEG, TIFF, MBP and PNG files. Think of this as a fancy touch-screen version of iPod Photo with an integrated camera.

The MR-100 is a smaller hard drive based music player with 5GB of capacity. It holds up to about 1,200 songs in either WMA and MP3 formats. It comes with a Li-Ion battery that plays up to 12 hours of music and it has a fancy button-less touchpad that has a cool red glow on it.

Here’s another look at the Olmpus m:robe MR-100 digital music player.

The new Panasonic VS7 is a slim camera phone with a 2 MegaPixel digital camera. It features a 2.5-inch LCD display with up to 16 million colors. This stylish phone with an 18.5mm slim body features an interchangeable cover for the fashion conscious.

NEC showcased a new phone with a built-in analog TV receiver. The phone is developed solely for markets which have yet to adopt the DVB-H standard, such as China. Obviously with analog reception, you won’t be getting crystal clear pictures, but still viewable to a certain degree.
