While Xiaomi's Mi Note 2 was the main focus of today's Xiaomi event, the unexpected unveiling of the futuristic Mi MIX smartphone stole the show. While the phone is about the same size as an iPhone 7 Plus, its edge-to-edge design lets it pack in a 6.4-inch display.
Xiaomi has unveiled the successor to last year's Mi Note, the Mi Note 2. Xiaomi's flagship phablet has a 5.7-inch dual-curved FHD display with a flexible OLED panel and is powered by a Qualcomm Snapdragon 821 processor with up to 6GB of RAM and 128GB internal storage.

After prolonged issues with defective batteries and units catching fire, Samsung has just announced that it will be ending production of its Galaxy Note7 smartphone.
