The U.S appeals court in Washington, D.C. reinstated a US$120 million award in favor of Apple, after it was lost to Samsung last February in an overturned verdict.
Germany’s Bundesrat has passed a resolution that calls for a ban on new internal combustion engine cars by 2030. This includes all vehicles powered by diesel or gasoline, which still encompass the majority of cars driven on German roads today.
South Korean news agency Yonhap is reporting that Samsung has temporarily suspended production of its Galaxy Note7 smartphone. According to Yonhap's source, the suspension is being done in coordination with safety officials in South Korea, the United States and China.
Samsung has filed two trademark registrations in South Korea for "LightUp Camera" and "Light+ Camera". Could these trademark filings be for the Galaxy S8?

Another two replaced Galaxy Note7s reportedly exploded in Kentucky and Taiwan.
This is the second case of a purported replaced Galaxy Note7 exploding.
