Zotac ZBOX CI320 nano plus Microsoft 8.1 with Bing

Some time ago, we spoke about Microsoft's new Windows 8.1 with Bing initiative. In a nutshell, it is a royalty-free version of Windows 8.1 meant for its hardware partners. The plan is to make Windows 8.1 devices as affordable as possible to attract more buyers. Now, the first of such devices are heading to shore.

Leading the charge is Zotac with its new ZBOX CI320 nano mini-PC. The headline here is that it will be available later this month for just S$360. And this is not some barebones kit, it will be fully operational off the shelf, but as expected, its specifications are pretty basic.

Processing duties are handled by a humble quad-core Intel Celeron N2930 processor complemented by just 2GB of RAM. On the flip side, it does get a 64GB SSD, so it should still run briskly. The ZBOX CI320 nano even supports the latest Wireless-AC standard. All in all, it sounds like a nifty HTPC system.
