Wacom has recently announced the Intuos Creative Stylus, which is made specifically for iPads (3, 4 and Mini). It's pressure-sensitive (2,048 levels), which means users can expect a more realistic drawing or writing experience when using it.

It has the familiar nib found on most capacitive touch styluses for the iPad (slightly smaller), but it also relies on Bluetooth 4.0 to connect to the iPad to relay additional input information (pressure level) from the nib, and side buttons.

The Wacom Intuos Creative Stylus also has a brushed aluminum body that should let it hold up to abuse. It comes in either blue or black, and has a case that holds an additional two replacement nibs and a replacement battery (it uses an AAAA battery).

This stylus is compatible with most of the popular drawing apps in the market like Autodesk's Sketchbook Pro, ArtRage, ProCreate and of course, Wacom's own Bamboo Paper digital notebook app.

However, Wacom's Bamboo Paper app has been optimized (via a recent update) specifically for use with the Intuos Creative Stylus. According Engadget, the latest version of the app also includes Tumblr and Dropbox sharing, premium notebooks, enhanced palm rejection, as well as new notebooks, tools and color palettes.

The Wacom Intuos Creative Stylus will be available for the US market in early October for US$99. It's unclear when the device will reach Singapore, you can be sure that once we find out, you'll find out too.
