StarHub Set to Roll Out Five HD & 11 TV Anywhere Channels Tomorrow

StarHub TV is extending both High Definition (HD) and multiscreen content with the combined launch of five new HD channels and 11 new TV Anywhere channels tomorrow (19 July, 9am).

This brings Singapore's largest collection of High Definition (HD) pay TV channels to 43 channels in total. In addition, through TV Anywhere, StarHub TV customers can view up to 65 of their favourite channels on their smart devices anytime, anywhere.

Spanning the Lifestyle, Education, Entertainment and World News genres, the five HD channels are Crime & Investigation Network HD (Ch 463), The Biography Channel HD (Ch 464), WarnerTV HD (Ch 562), BBC World News HD (Ch 755) and CNN HD (Ch 760). The channels are HD simulcasts of their respective Standard Definition channels. In addition, there will be a free preview of BBC World News HD and CNN HD for World News Basic Group subscribers from launch to 30 September 2013.

The 11 TV Anywhere channels cover the Kids, Lifestyle, Education, Entertainment and World News genres and include CBeebies (Ch 303), BBC Knowledge (Ch 407), Discovery Home & Health (Ch 425), Discovery Turbo (Ch 426), BBC Lifestyle (Ch 432), Crime & Investigation Network HD (Ch 463), The Biography Channel HD (Ch 464), BBC Entertainment (Ch 521), CNN Headlines (Ch 712), BBC World News HD (Ch 755) and CNN HD (Ch 760).

New and existing StarHub TV HD Upsize subscribers will be able to enjoy the new HD channels at no additional charge, depending on their Basic Groups and Basic Upsize subscription. Customers who wish to view the new HD channels can sign up for the HD Upsize for a monthly subscription of S$8.56 (w/GST) on top of the respective Basic Groups and Basic Upsize.

TV Anywhere is a multiscreen service which is available to all StarHub TV customers at no additional cost. The service allows viewers to watch the channels from their StarHub TV subscription plan on their laptops and tablets via www.starhubtvanywhere.com. Samsung Smart TV users can also access the service via the TV Anywhere Samsung Smart TV app. Users have to log-in using their HubID.
