Razer Comms Now with File Transfer and Improved Voice Audio

Razer has announced the Razer Comms v1.40 gaming communication solution.

Featuring peer-to-peer File Transfer to individuals and groups and improved audio quality, the new Razer Comms has fixed bugs including (but not limited to) audio stutter, inconsistent behavior when muted/unmuted, as well as crashes while changing audio devices.

  • Peer-to-Peer File Transfer (simply share files with your friends or entire groups with a simple drag and drop or using file transfer button in the bottom left)
  • Improved Audio Quality
    • Additional server locations (eight overall) and Smart-Routing for improved latency
    • Improved Noise Reduction
    • Improved Echo Cancellation
    • Improved Voice Volume Normalization
