Logitech's Gear Wars Contest Looking For The Ultimate Gaming PC

Logitech is no stranger to the PC gaming scene, manufacturing a number of highly-rated gaming keyboards, mice and other peripherals. Now, Logitech Singapore is on the hunt for the ultimate gaming PC in its 'Gear Wars' contest, inviting gamers to submit their ideas, plans and/or sketches for their dream rig, combining top-of-the-line hardware with a creative visual theme to stand a chance to win exciting prizes and the opportunity to turn their dream machine into reality.

Entries for the “Gear Wars” will be judged on the following criteria:

  • Strength and cohesiveness of the entry’s theme;
  • Creativity of design and visual appeal;
  • Overall look and performance of the design;
  • Achievability of the design specifications;
  • Written submission explaining rationale behind the design and how it makes for the ‘optimal gaming experience’.

The winning entry, determined by a panel of expert judges, will go on to receive up to S$5,000 to help bring their winning “Gear Wars” design to life! The judging panel, which will include seasoned gaming personalities, mod artists and the team right here at HardwareZone Singapore, will select the top 10 most outstanding entries. The top 10 will then be up for voting on Logitech Singapore’s Facebook page in mid-July. The total number of votes garnered per entry in the Top 10 will be taken into consideration to determine the overall winner.

If you're interested in participating, you can download the Gear Wars application form via the Logitech Singapore ‘Gear Wars’ Facebook App. Participants will be required to submit all items before the contest closes on 30 June 2013.

**Updated - Logitech has decided to extend the contest closing deadline to 14th July 2013. So join in quick and stand a chance to make your dream PC a reality!
