Jawbone Up24 Wristband Arrives in Singapore

Last November, Jawbone introduced its Up24 wristband, which features the same form factor and technology as Up, plus Bluetooth Smart for continuous syncing with the Up 3.0 App. Powered by MotionX, it connects wirelessly to your iOS device via Bluetooth Smart to provide continuous feedback and in-the-moment notifications to help you achieve your goals.

Now, Jawbone is announcing the launch of Up24 in 29 countries around the world. Featuring a smooth, hypoallergenic, medical-grade rubber exterior, it sports a new, stylish textural design that's comfortable enough to don throughout each day and night.

In addition, Jawbone has rolled out its Up Coffee app to help people track their caffeine intake and understand the impact on their sleep. It's available on iOS as a standalone app, but when linked with data from your Up or Up24 band, it analyzes how caffeine intake affects your sleep patterns.

Simply log a coffee, tea, energy drink, or other caffeinated beverage in the Up Coffee app to see a visual display of where you fall on a spectrum from "Wired" to "Sleep Ready" at any given time. After tracking both caffeine intake and sleep for 10 days, the Up Coffee can tell you things like the amount of sleep you lose on average for every 100mg of caffeine you ingest.

The Up24's battery lasts for seven days, and can be charged via your PC or USB power adapter using the bundled 2.5mm USB cable.

Available in three sizes (S, M, and L) and two colors (Persimmon or Onyx), the Jawbone Up24 starts retailing today, for S$249. You can get your hands on one from any iStudio, Epicentre, Sprint Cass, Infinity, and Harvey Norman outlet.

The Up app is available in 12 languages: English, Spanish, French, Dutch, German, Italian, Japanese, Korean, Portuguese (Brazilian), Russian, Simplified Chinese, and Traditional Chinese.

The Up by Jawbone 3.0 App for Android is available on Google Play, while you can download the Up by Jawbone 3.1 for iOS from the App Store. Additionally, the Up Coffee for iOS 7 is available globally in English as a free download from the App Store.
