Apple has just announced that tickets (US$1599) to the 2013 Worldwide Developers Conference (WWDC) will be up for sale soon (April 26, 1am Singapore time). However, tickets to the popular event (June 10 - 14) will definitely be sold out in a really short time (likely under 2 hours). To ensure that aspiring developers get a chance to attend, Apple has set aside 150 tickets for student developers to attend the event under the WWDC 2013 Student Scholarship. To be eligible for the scholarship, students have to be over 13-years-old, and enrolled in either the iOS Developer Program, iOS Developer University Program, iOS Developer Enterprise Program, or Mac Developer Program. They'd also have to create an app to describe themselves and the projects they've worked on.

Make sure you’re eligible.
To apply, you must be a full or part-time student, 13 years of age or older, and a current member of the iOS Developer Program, iOS Developer University Program, iOS Developer Enterprise Program, or Mac Developer Program. You will need to provide proof of enrollment from your school when you submit your application.

Create an app.
Use your creativity and coding skills to build an app that tells us about you. Your app should highlight development projects you’ve worked on, your educational and professional background, technical skills, and interests.

Submit your application.
You can sign in to submit your application beginning April 29, 2013 at 9 a.m. PDT. Please review the WWDC 2013 Student Scholarship Application Overview and the official rules below for complete details. All applications must be submitted by May 2, 2013 at 5 p.m. PDT.
